Jim would have no trouble finding the materials on my John Jones . . . but there were dozens of John Joneses from Iowa (and Illinois and Indiana) who served in the war and I'm at a point where I don't really know which is which. That's why I'm asking for guidance . . . I was hoping there is a list somewhere of whom was recruited from where (i.e. which county) . . .
