NARA also has nothing of prisoners being onboard the Wabash and stated in the deck logs that the Bienville went straight from Hilton Head to New York City. According to the Naval OR's this was NOT the case as the Bienville, stopped at Fortress Monroe on November 12, 1861., and then went on to New York.
