Per chance does anyone know how I can find the ships records of the USS Bienville? Would the US Navy had kept manfests of each ships actions and travels? I know the USS Bienville was at the battle of Port Royal on November 7th 1861 and docked at Fortress Monroe on November 12, 61' from there she was heading to New York.

Did the Bienville keep exact travels in 1861 of where she docked etc? Where can I find them? Many thanks.
