While reading Deck Logs at the National Archives, I have found entries for a ship's receipt of stores (beef/beeves, coffee, tea, rum, potatoes, etc.), as well as the occasional entry for "supper of beef, potatoes, beans was served". Following detailed descriptions of a boat's involvement in a battle/action, there is usually an entry that "whiskey/rum was poured out to the crew". Not sure is this is what you are looking for.
