Joe....Registry Number 334 doesn't show anywhere on Wayne Stark's "old" list. Just about every number surrounding it does and it was a Phoenix. Get pictures of this gun and all of it's markings. This could be a valuable piece of info to add to "the list" which Ron Black has indicated is now maintained by Jim Bender. Ron......wouldn't you think that the Parrott was the most widely used even after the WBTS? Fort Sumter is full of 100 pounder Parrotts that saw action (?) in The Spanish-American War. They are mounted on iron carriages in the fort's casemate gallery. Sorry, after re-reading I see you were referring to field artillery. I love to pick your brain Ron. You are my my mentor. Even if you don't know it.
