A stone dedication will be held near Harrisville, WV on October 21, 2007. The dedication will be held in honor of George Valentine who died as a civilian at the Camp Chase Prison on June 3, 1862. Mr. Valentine's body is now in a mass grave along with serveral other Confederates in Columbus,Ohio. The stone will be placed on his original farm near Harrisville, WV. Anyone wishing to attend may do so. I, for one will be there.
