Tyrrell, Truman of Fox Lake, Wis. Aug. 28, 1841 born at Salisbury, Mass. Aug. 21, 1862 enlisted as private, Company E, 29th Wis. Infantry Rgt. April 8, 1864 captured at Sabine Cross Roads, La. May 22, 1865 mustered out; c.1868 married Sarah F. Pettibone (August 1841 born in Massachusetts); 1880 farmer at Moran, Todd County, Minn. Aug. 9, 1889 applied for a pension while living in Minnesota (Pension Certificate No. 986292); 1900 farmer at Ward, Todd County, Minn. Nov. 11, 1906 Truman died in Minnesota; 1906 (can’t read month & day) his widow Sarah F. applied for a pension while living in Minnesota (Pension Certificate No. 628993)
Children: Marcus (Mark) Tyrrell, January 1870 born in Wisconsin; Nancy Tyrrell, c.1871 born; Esther Tyrrell, c.1873 born; Arthur Tyrrell September 1876 born in Minnesota; as of 1900 married—wife Stella—and a farmer at Ward, Minn.; John Tyrrell, c.1877 born; Roy H. Tyrrell July 1879 born in Minnesota; Hayden W. Tyrrell, November 1881 born in Minnesota; Earl Tyrrell, January 1884 born in Minnesota

Note: John probably born Sept. 7, 1877 per WWI draft registration card
