Ken,

Your Andrew Shoop has a Compiled Service Record and he applied for and received an Invalid Pension in 1879, App. No. 297,629, Cert. No. 350,016. Susanna Shoop applied for and received a Widow's Pension in 1906. Veteran's and Widow's pensions are filed together.

You can write to the National Archives, contact the Wisconsin Historical Society for Compiled Service Records only or you can order his Compiled Service Record and his Pension Application files through these message boards by clicking on the link below or the ad at the top of the main message index page.
