My GRT Grandfather -Andrew Shoop was a PVT. in the 29th Inf. Co f, Wisconsin. He was in the Union Army from 21 Aug.1861 -- 22 June 1865. He was at one time aboard the Sultana. He returned to Clarks County , Wisconsin upon discharge. I wonder if He was a survivor of the Sultana? Also, any other info about the battles fought by the 29th inf, co f.?
