I would like to connect with any other researchers who had an ancestor who was stationed at McMinnville, TN. Mine died there May 23, 1863 while serving with the Mich 19 Infantry, leaving a pregnant wife at home in Decatur, Van Buren Co. MI.

No one knows where he was buried, and there is absolutely no trace left of any Union soldiers who served at McMinnville,TN for six months before heading toward Atlanta to join Sherman.
