Thank you very much for the information. I beleive you've found what I was looking for. I've seen Frederick's Last name spelled several ways, including Bliedon. The dates you gave me seem to match the documentation that I have pretty well. There is a copy of Declaration for Pension of a widow giving a date of death as 6 Jan 1877, it also lists a Daughter named Mary born in 1875.

Just for some background, Frederick received a bullet wound to the left leg in a battle at Gordonville, Va on 27 Sept 1864 that left him unable to walk without crutches for the rest of his life. His cause of death was stated to be Smallpox.
I've always been a bit of a Civil War buff, but just recently got interestd in Geneology,. Hopefully in the future I'll get a better understanding of what resorces are available,like you have. Well thanks again. In your debt.
