George, yes, I have seen the widow's pension file, at FOLD3, and also the service (including the letter to Secretary Seddon) of the SWH in the Baltimore Light Artillery. I believe I have now confirmed that they are definitely one and the same person, thanks to signatures shown in the Confederate military file, as well as the widow's pension file. The signatures compare favorably.
