This appears to be the right Andrew J. He did die on the date you mention. Given that Andrew was 26 in 1860 I don't think James O. (age 12) is his son, unless adopted; he could be his wife's (Eliza) younger brother? I didn't have the Ward info from 1860 or his parents' names, so this is extremely useful.

Not sure about the William Thomas info. My great-great grandfather W.T. did marry someone named Sarah, but her last name was Fardwell. His pension records say he died in 1913. His brothers' names and father's name don't match either. The W.T. I'm searching for was in his early 20s during the Civil war, which doesn't match up with a birth date of 1821.

Andrew's father is not the same as W.T. Most likely they are not brothers, though could still be cousins.

I really appreciate your taking the time to look up this helpful information.
