William T. "Bloody Bill" Anderson was killed 26 October 1864 in Missouri. He had married Miss Bush Smith in Grayson County,Texas, in March, 1864. They had no children. Bloody Bill had 3 brothers. James M. Anderson had one daughter, Jimmie Maude Anderson who never married. Ellis Anderson, who had no known children. Charles Anderson, who died as a child. Bloody Bill had 3 sisters. Josephine was killed in the collapse of the Union jail; Martha Jane married Elbridge G. Douglass; and Mary Ellen married Alexander V. Doak.

William Columbus Anderson of Brown County,Texas, was not related to Bloody Bill.
