Re: Bloody Bill Anderson
In Response To: Bloody Bill Anderson ()

Dear Sir: I was on your mailing list for several months, and enjoyed it very much. It caused me to begin a long effort to learn more about the truth of this man, and others who served their cause. I have reached some conclusions with which I have grown comfortable. I was born in St. Joseph Mo. so many years ago. In spite of the desperate poverty in which I was raised, I have done relatively well in my life by obtaing a college degree following service in the USMC. Subsequent to my retirement as a Correctional Counselor at Folsom State Prison, I pursued my second career as a sculptor. My web Site is Hanson Catholic Art.com. I concentrate on Catholic and inspirational characters. I feel compelled to render a monument to these men who sacraficed everything for their cause, and the cause from which we currently benefit. If you would consider supporting such an effort, I would appreciate it very much. I would sculpt figures of the James Brother and William Anderson on my own, but I don't have access to reliable photographs. Please review my web site, and determine if you feel that I can do justice to such a project. While I currently live in Ca., I am in the process of moving back to St. Joe to live and open a studio to which I can devote my time to honoring our respected heroes. Thank you for all of the hard work you and others, such a Betty Hunt, have done for us. Dave Hanson.
