Searching for any information about the above person, in 22nd infantry from Indiana. In particular I am interested in how he ended up in Omaha, NE in the 1880s. He was married to Mrs. Sarah Nichols probably, who had 4 children. He and Sarah had 4 additional children. He apparently died prior to 1900 because Sarah is in Starke County, Indiana.

Where was his family from in Indiana?
