Further to the above messages on Morris Wetzler - there was never any understanding that he came to Australia. The original reference with his link to Australia came from the regimental history of the unit compiled several years ago where the unit roster said he was born in Australia (obviously an error which should have read Austria). There has not been any other linkage to Australia other than the above, please disregard any research on his Australian links.
