Steve: I am researching the battle of Cape Girardeau, MO, that occurred in late April, 1863. If memory served me correctly, the 32nd Iowa, or at least part of it, participated in the engagement. Does the book contain any information regarding that particiption, or anything on possible casualties of the regiment there. My recollection is that the regiment arrived just as the battle was ending.
