Many of these crosses over the years had been damaged. William Huggins a son of a Confederate veteran replaced many of these. Earlier this year I contacted the cemetery to see if they still had any of these crosses but they did not.
This last year I up dated my research and found some of the names on the grave stones in Confederate Rest may not be correct.
Using regimental rosters, older lists, family records and the National Archives I came up with my list of whom I believe are if not the correct names maybe at least closer to the correct names.
