Re: Citations of Material used on Web Sites.

Steve, thank you for your kind words, but my sites are far from perfect, although I would certainly like them to be perfect. I admit there may be errors in some of the material, and if advised of such errors, I will correct them immediately. However, as anyone who navigates my sites can clearly see, I include many source notes, and cite the sources of all material I use, without exception, so no one is left in doubt about where the material originally came from.
I know such citation can be of great assistance to those doing any research in this area.
I have been accused, on one occasion, of plagiarism, obviously by an Englishman who has no knowledge of the meaning of the word, and did not study the web sites properly before making such accusations. Then, the author of the publication from which I originally obtained the material, and to whom I gave the correct citation contacted me, and gave me some further information which additionally discredits this English "expert," and at least one of his supporters, both of whom had claimed that the author had no prior knowledge whatsoever, of the material referred to.
Anyway, most of this episode is now covered in two or three web sites I have placed online to show the extent someone will go to in claiming credit for research material, and the glory seeking egos of such persons.
As for me, I am always glad to share any material I have, and will always point the way to any original sources without hesitation.
