I would still suggest trying to search the deck logs of the USS WABASH for that particular day, and the days following, as the POWs would probably have been transferred to one of the other Naval vessels heading north for some reason, such as the courier, coaling and other vessels, which brought supplies, mail, etc., to the blockading fleet. Perhaps not by the USS BIENVILLE, but by some other vessel.
