Six-inch Dalgren Gun, Gunboat "Chattahoochee"

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am looking for information on the men that manned the Six-inch Dalgren Gun from the gunboat "Chattahoochee" from July 23 until August 28, 1864. They participated in the portion of the Atlanta siege line located near the Western & Atlantic Railroad eastward to the Peachtree Road.

I am looking for accounts of combat, unpublished reports, letters, journals, diaries, and newspaper articles.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Respectfully,
