Dear Friends: I am the curatorial coordinator of a traveling exhibition on the history of Catholic sisters in America. As I'm certain you know, a number of Catholic sisters worked on hospital ships during the civil war. One community of nuns provided us with a painting of the Red Rover that they had cut from a wall calendar. We are seeking the owners of this work to ask for permission to use it and also to obtain a high resolution version of the image. I thought perhaps the users of this board might now the source.
