Bruce, Elizabeth James Simms lived at 1250 31st NW, Washington, DC 20007(see picture on Google Maps), from about 1888 to 1907, when she died. Elizabeth was married to Charles Carroll Simms, but, my source states that Elizabeth was a widow when she moved into the house. They had two sons, Charles Nourse and Richard Douglas. Richard (who inherited the house) married Emily Redin and they had a daughter Elizabeth. The family owened the house until 1924. We purchased the house in 2007
