I have been trying to track down (unsuccessfully) the papers of Lt. Simms. Simms served on the CSS Virginia and later at Mobile. Does anyone know where he went after the war? He seems to have disappeared. A friend received an e-mail from a Wesley Simms who has a brother named Charels Carroll Simms VI, but we haven't been able to contact him since last September's e-mail. Wesley's great-great-great grandfather is supposed to be the Lt. Simms in question.
