Hello all,

I was just curious; Why did the CW navies use that little cut off pistol holster instead of a full military flap holster like the army? It would seem that with all the moisture aboard ship, being near water, salt sea spray, etc, that the fully covered flap holster would be the type they would actually need and want. The little thing they use leaves most of your pistol exposed to the elements.
