I would of course love to know more about my great grandmother Bethard. Her maiden name was Clark. Her father was named Mortimer Southgate Clark. I think he was from Holmes Valley, Florida. He may also have military service. I don't know his wife's name or any other Clark family history.

I was told at one point that the Clark family were related to William Clark of Lewis and Clark family, but I also wondered if this were 'wishful' thinking, as I think other members of the family more history oriented than I would have traced this fact down.
