Shawn, Alice, Dale, I appreciate your help, I had not ever thought about photos with multiple ships. I dont have any record that the "Mill Boy" was ever that far south, but it is very possible. The only records I have certain is on the Ohio, Mongeghela, Mississippi and White Rivers. She sank during a storm on the White River on the night of Jan 31 1864. Had 35 tons of forage and supplies on board for the Federal Garrison at Batesville, Arkansas. Garrison included the 1st Nebraska Calvary, 11th Missouri Calvary and the the 4th Arkansas Mounted Rifles USA commanded by Elisha Baxter who after the war was elected governor of the State of Arkansas. Placed great hardship on the Garrison. Its commander heavily considered abandoning the post. due to the fact 5 ships had the same nmae makes it difficult in researching.
