Hello neighbor! I know exactly where you are talking about! I live in Millbrook, Elmore Co., Al and I have been in that area a million times. Ft. Talouse is around that area! I am going to go to that spot now for sure and imagine that monitor sitting there!

By the way, I know where there are, or were, some of Selma's trench works from the Civil War that are, or were, untouched. They are in some woods and are probably the only original section still in its original state, besides possibly another section near Range Line Road.
