Another source for information along this line of enquiry would be Confederate Blockade Running through Bermuda, 1861-1865: Letters and Cargo Manifests, Frank E. Vandiver, Austin, Texas, 1947. I've run across this one as extract in other folks writings and am hunting it down for my shelf.

As an aside, there was another blocade runner named Eugenie.
This 350 cotton bale capacity steamer was government owned, operating exclusively for the Ordnance and Medical Bureaus with management by Collie, Crenshaw and Co. Wilmington, North Carolina was her entry port.
