....and, oh yeah, you can use the handle of the hatchet to opeate the sprue cutting plate on the bullet mold when casting projectiles. Let the lead set up (harden) and give the sprue plate a good whack with the handle to part the sprue from the base (or nose) of the bullet in the mold. Gently tapping the side of the mold will help the bullet part company with the cavity, if it does not want to come out. The bullet will then drop into the bowl of clear, cool water you've set out, chilling it and giving you a harder bullet than air cooled. Do not get any water in the lead pot. The result is explosive.
