I found a list of stores for Wards Miss Battalion in the OR's which shows them as haveing 10 2pdr. breechloaders (62). Given the area I was hoping that I could link them to some use of the Hughes guns. Maybe a portion?
I have a great interest in the small civil war pc's,(they a what I can afford to play with) There could be as many as 300 sub standard pieces of artillery floating around largly unaccounted for. Most were attached to Cav. or inf. units and not reported as ord. or mentioned by type in their reports.
