Gentlemen -

There is a family history of the Slocumbs. The passage of greatest interest begins on page 508(?) and continues (as footnote) onto the following page.

Benny is well versed on these guns and like him, I am baffled by the reference to a "10 inch Columbiad" made in Selma - especially in 1863.
