The 8" Columbiad called "The Lady Slocumb" was cast by the Tredegar Foundry in Richmond VA on October 13, 1863 with a foundry number of 1932 and a weight of 8,566 pounds. There are six other surviving examples of a Confederate 8" columbiad, presently at, 2 at St Augustine FL, 2 at Rock Island IL, 1 at Drewey's Bluff VA, 1 at Waterman IL.
