The field gun you describe is a confederate Napoleon field gun which was manufactured at Augusta Georgia. It is a copy of the federal M1857 napoleon. The main differance between the two versions is that the confederate copy had no muzzle swell, the federal gun did. It is impossible to determine if the two confederate batteries were equipped with the confederate model although there was a good chance they were. Most of the confederate production of this gun was sent to the Army of Tennessee. I believe we discussed this before and, since no records exist today of what gun was issued to what battery, nobody can provide you with a list of serial numbers issued to a particular battery.
As I answered in the above post, The two rebel batteries mentioned were issued Napoleons but its impossible to tell if they were Federal or confederate.
