Your asking for a lot of information at one time and I can give some info of a general nature if that is what you want. Here is a little concerning Scogin's Battery.
Firstly, the book "Units of the Confederate States Army" by Joseph H. Crute is silent about these batteries except for Howell's and Dawson's batteries which is in a general nature. Secondly, you could try the website www. scv674.org/gamilhist.htm or google the same site by using Georgia Conmfederate Military History Resources. This information is also very general and sketchy. I don't think this may help you much.

The Georgia battery, commanded by Captain O. C. Gibson was sent to Western Tennessee and Northern Mississippi early in 1862 and continued to serve there until fall 1862 when it moved with the Army of Tennessee but is not mentioned with the army in Kentucky. Sent to Chattoonga in late 1862 to rest and refit. It had four 6 pdr bronze field guns. Returned to the Army of Tennessee in early 1863, and in the summer, Captain John Scogin's assumed command of the battery. It continued with the army during the movements in Tennessee back to the hills of northwest Georgia that led to the Battle of Chickamauga. After the Battle of Chattoonga, the battery was much depleted during the battle and was sent back to Atlanta along with five other depleted batteries, reduced to four batteries and assigned for service with the Georgia Miliata and served at Atlanta. The battery disappears after the fall of Atlanta. This battery has been referred to by some as the "Griffin Light Artillery" of Georgia but this it not true.
