I believe that the preformance of General Patrick Cleburne at the battle of Tunnel Hill and Missionary Ridge, together with the retreat down off the mountain was, if not the finest was not far behind all others, preformance of a civil war division commander during the civil war. Most certainly, it was his best and shining movement in the war.
