Long time since your post, but I'm an optimist.

My Great Grandfather Pvt. Agustus Stetzer was in Co. D of the 25th WI. I'm also looking for any info on the 25th. Am wondering if there are any drawings or pictures of their brigade flag. Have Augusts Bible with a 4 leaf clover pressed inside & a note on the back inside cover saying, "I DO NOT want to die." Obviously since I'm here, he survived.
