The Pennsylvania in the Civil War Message Board

CW Photo

I have a photo (18 x 22) in a beautiful wood frame, of a group of civil war soldiers (about 110 men), all posed in their civil war uniforms, carrying their weapons. Printed on the picture is "Company B, 16th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry". Also, printed on the photo is,
"Photographed By M. W. Tennant, Newport News, Virginia". I'm trying to find the roster belonging to this picture of soldiers, when
was the picture taken, where the picture was taken (VA or PA), who M. W. Tennant was, he's not listed with the other civil war
photographers. I did find one other photo taken on Oct. 7, 1901 of the BB-7 USS ILLINOIS, listed as, "photograph copyrighted by
M. W. Tennant, Newport News, Va.", and also states that it is, "now in the collections of the National Archives". I did not find much info about the 16th PA Volunteer Infantry, Company B. If anyone has any information or can tell me a website that this info is located,
please let me know. Thanks, Smiley
(smilesdotoo@zoominternet.net) or contact me on this website.
