Allen Willis Ohio Infantry

Looking for information on Allen Willis. He was in Ohio Company H, 4th Infantry, and Ohio Company D, 82nd Infantry. He appears in Michigan in 1860 Census, but he is not to be found after that. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to find where he may have died or buried. His wife was Leonora Willis and two children Lorin Willis and Ana Willis.

Leonora applied for a pension in 1880 under the name of Leonora Reed. I can't find her or the children. She does show in her mothers obit as being in Chicago Illinois with her son Lorin in the 1880's. Leonora's mother was Polly Stockwell, Barton, Buddle. Polly was in the Lake County, Indiana area.

I checked with Kalamazoo County death index. I don't find any death record, but I don't know Allen's date of death.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you
