The 90th Ohio formed at Camp Circleville, Ohio in August of 1862 if my memory serves me. I was present at the dedication of a historical marker, dedicated near the sight a few years ago. In Pickaway County, there is a unit historian by the name of Warren Gentzel. Mr. Gentzel is a decendant of the 90th OVI also. His email address is cwgentz1@bright.net In a previous post I failed to report the most recent address change. He is most informed and an avid speaker on the unit. There is a photo of the marker at my sight on the 114th OVI at... www.fortunecity/westwood/makeover/347 I hope that link works for all who try it. The marker is located on Tarlton Rd. Circlevile, Ohio. It's east side is for the 90th, the west side is for the 114th. Both units formed and trained at the camp.
