Looking for information about Jacob Williams b: 1825 Pa. enlisted in the 16th Ohio Infantry, Company F - Private. He served from 23 April 1861 - 18 August 1861. After his death in 1906, his wife filed for a widow's pension from the state of MD., where they had lived.

I would like to know what civil war records would likely show WHO Jacob's parents were and where do I send for them?
