Another reference to the Battle of Chickamauga can be found in A "Guest" of the Confederacy written by my wife and myself, detailing the capture of the 22nd Michigan at Horseshoe Ridge and the man in command of this company, Alonzo M. Keeler. His 528 days in captivity makes for interesting reading.
