Hi John -

FORGIVE my late response. my home com is dougm@torchlake.com

John - THAT is GREAT what you posted for me! (THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH)

John - I'm confused about Daniel's grave marker - he has a 10th Mich Cav Co E. tomb stone next to his wife's grave stone - Mary J Flanigan who passed away in March 19, 1882 at age 34.
I see another stone ahead of their 2 stones - which reads - Daniel C Flanigan Feb. 28 1836 - Sept ? 1872 (This would make him OLDER than 18?)

His CIVIL War stone next to his wife reads only the 10th Mich. Cav Co E and no year of birth or death?

I used a pencil and varnished the year of birth ?? veru hard to read fisrt it looks like 1830 and mabe 1836?? Either he fibbed about his age or the recorder misrecorded him as 18 verses maybe 28???
I'm SO CONFUSED??? I need to write the larger city historical society and see if they have any info on his death? or service.

John I will keep in touch with YOU and I APPRECIATE your HELP and TIME in his records or information I can find on him????

Sincerely Doug Mills/Bellaire Michigan
