There are 3 logbooks in the National Archives for the Forest Rose. They date from August 12th, 1863 to August 4th, 1865. The branch you would need is the branch at College Park MD. The National Archives will microfilm them for you if they are in fairly good shape or if they have already been microfilmed. Be prepared to spend some bucks though. the last time I had ships logs microfilmed it was 30 cents a page.
