Many thanks for the detailed information. Most of the genealogy on my great-great grandfather I already have, but the regimental history is very helpful. Is there anyone out there who may have had a family member who served with Farley Tubbs? I know that he is buried in the Keefer Olmstead Cemetery on Keefer highway in Ionia County. His first daughter Isadora C. Tubbs was my great grandmother. Daniel McQuillan was her first husband, and served with 30th Michigan (not sure which Company). Isadora lived at 346 Elizabeth St., in Lyons, MI until her death in 1931. She had 2 sons and 2 daugters with Daniel McQuillan: George, Arthur, Catherine, and Alice respectively. She re-married after Daniel deserted the family to Albert Hamler. With him she had 2 daughters: Mable and Ruth. The house with the above address was built during the Civil War, and still stands today. My great aunt Mable Hamler passed on stories that her mother Isadora's family would entertain the soldiers in the parlor. Isadora would have been about 4 years old at the time. Farley Tubbs had 13 children with Mary Kiefer (Keefer). 8 of them survived to adulthood.

Thank you in advance for information anyone may have,
Kim
