I am not sure of a Major Edelen in a NC unit. I read something about a Major Edelen's Heavy Artillery or something, but I can't remember if it was a NC unit or not. I know it was defenatly not Jesse R. Edelen. Have you ever read the book "Marylanders in the Confederacy"? Great book.
