Thanks Johnny Reb. Those are all my kinfolks. I have seen their names at the Nationa Archives over the years. That Joseph Edelen/Edelin was my gr gr grandfather. He was shot in the face with a .36 cal ball at 1st Bull Run. It entered one side of his cheek and he spit it out and put it in his pocket and finished the battle. Afterwards, he made a watch fob out of it and carried it all his life. It was still in the family until a generation or so ago. I bet when he spit that ball out (and probably a couple of teeth) and resumed the battle, he was one irate individual!

Your list did not mention Jessie R. Edelen, who as I said served in Co. E, 1st Maryland Cavalry.
