Ken, I will try to look up the answers to your questions which are partly addressed in a book written for the "Western Delawares" or "Absentee Delawares" of Anadarko, OK. If you would email me I can scan some pages of the book and send to you.

The book touches on some of these topics but further research needs to be done on the travels of Black Beaver and his contributions to the westward exploration of the U.S. I guess we are lucky he was refered to by his name instead of by such a descriptive name as "an Indian scout".
