My GGGrandmother was Josephine Zahm who I beleive was one of Lewis's sisters. Lewis originally settled in upstate New York. He was born in Zweibrucken in south west Germany. You shoulld check the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential center as they have some of his letters to his brother Victor. Let me know how you make out.
